At Castle & Key Distillery, we aspire to cultivate a positive and diverse community. As we welcome people from around the world, it is our goal to foster a fun and safe environment for those visiting us both in person and online. To help ensure a secure, vibrant, and inclusive experience, we maintain a set of Community Guidelines that include rules and standards guests are expected to follow. These guidelines, written below, apply to everyone and are informed by legal frameworks, industry best practices, input from our trusted community, safety, and public health experts, as well as our regional Advisory Councils.
We will address content or behavior that involves credible threats or expressions of hate, material targeting individuals for the purpose of degradation or embarrassment, disclosure of personal information intended for blackmail or harassment, and persistent unsolicited messages. This includes removing comments from our pages or asking guests to leave our property, in order to maintain a safe space for all.
Conversations of a more intense nature are generally permissible when discussing individuals in the public eye due to their professional endeavors or notable activities. However, advocating for violence or launching attacks on individuals based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, disabilities, or health conditions is never acceptable.
We strictly prohibit any serious threats that jeopardize public or personal safety. This encompasses explicit threats of physical harm, as well as menaces of theft, vandalism, financial loss, and other forms of harm. We meticulously evaluate reports of threats, considering various factors to determine their credibility.
